When will my session take place?
Sessions are typically scheduled 2-3 hours before sunset. For example, sessions start around 7:00 PM in June and around 3:00 PM in November.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes! Friends or family members are welcome. For whole family sessions, please inform me beforehand.
Can a friend and I book our sessions at the same time?
Absolutely! Sharing your session date with a friend can be lots of fun. We'll take a few photos of you together, but you'll need to choose the same location.
Which package should I choose?
Monarch: Perfect for camera-shy seniors, a no-fuss shoot.
Blue Bonnet: Most popular, two outfit changes for variety.
Rodeo: Best value with extras like an additional outfit/time, custom photo album.
Hybrid: This add-on gives you the best of both worlds.
Senior Time Capsule: Most memorable, if a picture is worth a thousand words, how much is a video worth?
Can I bring my dog to my session?
Yes, a well-behaved dog is welcome. However, not all locations allow dogs. Please let me know in advance if you plan to bring your pup. Someone will need to handle the dog during the shoot (***I cannot handle leashes or harnesses***).
What if it's raining on my session date?
My plan is to take these in natural light, I reschedule sessions if there’s significant inclement weather, including poor air quality from smoke.
How long before images are ready?
Images are typically ready 2- 3 weeks after your shoot. I edit all images personally and will send you a link to your gallery as soon as they are finished.
Do you Photoshop images?
My editing philosophy is to remove the temporary and keep the permanent. I will remove blemishes but not birthmarks or freckles unless requested.
May I edit my own photos?
No. Please do not crop, filter, or otherwise adjust the images (including Instagram and Snapchat filters). Trilite Photography retains copyright to all images.
What about photo storage?
You will receive a link to download your images with a personal-use print release. Galleries will be open for about 2 months. Please download and back up your images promptly. I aim to maintain senior galleries for the duration of their senior year, but backup immediately to avoid loss.
Can I get a yearbook photo?
Yes you can, but it is your responsibility to choose your favorite that is within the guidelines of your school yearbook. Choose your favorite and email me the file number. I will size the image but will not submit it for you. Be mindful of your yearbook photo deadline.
Do I have permission to share my images online?
Yes! Please share your favorite images online with photo credit to Trilite Photography if sharing un-watermarked images. You can share your gallery link with family and friends, but remember they will have access to download and print your images.
When will I be able to take my Cap and Gown photos
